Coastal British Columbia Bears BCH4/BCF4 $6,500
Black bear populations are high in this outfitter's area with an excellent opportunity for hunters to harvest a true "once in a lifetime" trophy. Typical spring bears have excellent hides, average three hundred plus pounds and square 6 to 7 feet. Skull sizes average close to 19 inches and several animals each year go over the 20 inch mark. Glassing and stalking for short distances along beaches and grassy creek mouths during the afternoons is the most common method of hunting. A 60 foot yacht accommodates a maximum of four hunters per week and allows excellent mobility throughout the outfitting area.
